Flowers, Flowers Everywhere

Ok so it is August 31 and the summer is coming to an end, but I couldn’t pass up a post about sundresses! During the summer, I live in dresses! They come in so many colors and prints, it’s hard not to love them! One of my favorite printed sundresses is a meadow-inspired, daisy, Tibi dress. Now, as you probably know by now, when Lina and I hit our two favorite hot spots, we first, head straight for the CLEARANCE racks. WELL, my coveted Tibi dress was spending night after night sleeping on the clearance rack, waiting for me to scoop her up and bring her home!

The dresses below are from Tibi’s Spring 2010 collection. As you can see, the brand Tibi is all for floral! These dresses just represent the spring and summer! Some dresses are fitted and structured and others are loose! Either way, they look fabulous!

The dress below is the original Tibi dress. It comes with a mustard colored belt that I opted not to wear. I put my own twist on the gem. This dress is perfect to wear for SO MANY occasions; brunch, a day of shopping on Newbury Street, or even a boat ride…

I thought, no better place to sport this fabulous Tibi gem than in Newport, RI. It was a perfect day for a boat ride, so that is just what I arranged to do. I hopped on the Madeline boat and took a tour around Newport. I’m all for comfort and that is what this dress represents. Not too loose, not too tight, juuuuust right…just like Goldilocks said, except she was referencing disgusting porridge and I’m talking about a magnificent gem! The white buttons with the gold trim are a wonderful touch to this sundress. Accompanying Tibi is a pair of gold sandals and tons of vintage, chunky gold bangles. Oh, and of course my Marc Jacob sunnies.

Are you ready for this……..

Original Gem: $260

Hidden Gem: ………. 3 DOLLARS!!!!

…..was that a typo you ask? NO, it was not! Three George Washington singles! 12 quarters if you will! That’s less than an iced venti latte AND it’s more delicious!

Here, I will even prove it!

And there you have it! Deal of the century!!

Do you love Tibi? Or have any great deals you want to share with us? Please do! Leave it in the comments!

xoxo Carolyn
