People’s Choice Awards: Best Dressed

Award Show 2013

And so it begins. The first Award Show of the season was held last night and the dresses did not disappoint.

Of course, the outfits are not as juicy and jaw dropping as the other award show we have have coming up (PS-hi Golden Globes are on Sunday!), but think of this Award show as a little hors d’oeuvre for what’s to come.

And now…the top 5.

A Watercolor Masterpiece

Neutrals are SO popular this season. Everywhere I turn there is a celebrity or a model rocking the neutral trend! BUT usually when you think of summer, you think of bright, eccentric colors! I was lucky enough to find a fitted/flowing, watercolor inspired dress at TJ’s. I wore this beauty during the the S/S Hidden Gems photo shoot and paired it with some periwinkle blue, oversized hoops, a hot pink watch, and gold wedges!

Doesn’t it look like something that could hang in the Metropolitan Museum of Art? Or perhaps a painting Picasso may have whipped up?

This gem gives off such a vintage vibe!

Have a look at these watercolor dresses from Ralph Lauren!

Graduation Sensation

Well after countless hours of studying and endless papers and tests, I am finally a graduate of UMass Boston!! While celebrating my big day, I obviously had to wear a stylish ensemble under that ever so chic black, polyester gown. My graduation dress, made by Calvin Klein, was purchased from TJ’s and was the perfect, colorful choice for the joyous occasion! I paired my look with a chunky gold necklace, gold wedges, a removable royal blue jacket, and teal nail polish!

I got to show off my fabulous dress while dining at Strega Waterfront in Boston!

And are you loving the criss-cross back! Disregard the sunburnt skin.

My dress also comes in a skirt and a strapless dress!!

This Bottega Venneta Resort 2011 dress has the same color scheme as my CK dress, only this one is more for an elegant night out!
