Meshing Around

During the summer, I live in bathing suits and cover-ups. As I’m sure most do. I mean what else am I going to wear a parka?

I bought a cobalt blue bathing suit down the Cape last summer and then before my most recent trip to St. Barths I found an amazing matching mesh blue coverup from TJ’s! It’s uncanny how well they match!

Cut 25 paired a mesh blue top with neon pieces for their Spring 2012 collection.

Namaste New Year

When Carolyn and I are not working, shopping, or dining out, you can find us at our favorite yoga studio. With New Years having passed, everyone is making plans on having a healthier new year. This may mean joining a gym or maybe taking a yoga class like us!

I received lots of great gifts this holiday season, but the ones that I am most excited to use are for my yoga class. My new yoga gear (more to be posted later) is from the very coveted “Lulu Lemon.” While browsing the store the day after Christmas I stumbled upon a fabulous cashmere sweater. They call it the “Reflection” wrap. Reflection is usually at the end of class when meditation and relaxation are at their finest. I could imagine myself getting lost in this fine piece of cloth. One problem the $138.00 price tag.

On a second “reflection” of my Christmas gifts, I found a gorgeous 100% cashmere Cythnia Rowley sweater my sister had gifted me. She picked this little gem up at TJ Maxx! I realized it is the perfect sweater for yoga or anytime! It is so soft and a versatile charcoal grey. I paired it with black leggings, an emerald tee, and my favorite paint splattered Tory Burch flats! Talk about looking yummy for yoga!

Lulu Gem: $138.00

Cynthia Rowley Hidden Gem: $39.00

Do you have any favorite work out gear? We would love to hear from you!

Va Va Vintage

The other night Lina and I were invited to a vendor event, which obviously called for a fabulous outfit. Not too hot out, not too cold, it was just right (like that porridge girl said).

I saw something glimmering in the jackets section of my closet and remembered that I had bought this AH-MAY-ZING vintage sequin bolero jacket from Artifaktori in Somerville, Ma a few months back!

(Jacket: Artifaktori | Top: Forever 21 | Leggings: Forever 21 | Wedges: Bamboo)

This vintage sequin Etsey top is DELISH! Not sure about the butterfly though…a little to Mariah Carey-ish.

This vintage bolero looks just like my sweet dream!

Of course, Ashley Olsen would rep a vintage sequin dress. Quite hippie-esque…in a good way.
