During the summer, I live in bathing suits and cover-ups. As I’m sure most do. I mean what else am I going to wear a parka?
I bought a cobalt blue bathing suit down the Cape last summer and then before my most recent trip to St. Barths I found an amazing matching mesh blue coverup from TJ’s! It’s uncanny how well they match!
Cut 25 paired a mesh blue top with neon pieces for their Spring 2012 collection.

Someone recently asked me if it was still taboo to wear white before memorial day. The answer really depends! Sure I might not break out my starch white cafe capris, but I have nothing against a rich winter white. Especially when it is trimmed with gold!
This winter white structured mid thigh jacket is perfect for those crisp spring days. I am obsessed with the shape, especially those exaggerated shoulders! This is a jacket that would definitely warrant a second look! It has delicate gold threading throughout!
I layered this heavenly find with a similar top. This time white with gold polka dots atop a white blouse!
Polka dots are not just for Minnie Mouse anymore! We have been seeing it everywhere! This blouse has a special addition with layers of tassel that give this top the swing it needs to be perfect for the spring!
And how about these platform, metallic, Mary Jane teenie tiny peep toes! An essential for any season! I feel as though metallics have found a way into ever season!
The moral of the story, white and metallics…wear without fear!

This morning I celebrated a sunny Easter morning in the Carribbean (sorry chilly New Englander’s). We dined at the Ritz for brunch and thought it was the perfect holiday to wear a blood orange sheer top. It’s festive, Easter’esque, and kept me cool as a cucumber!
And of course it matched the blood orange mimosa’s we sipped on. What can I say…I match my drinks to my outfits!
These tropical flowers were the perfect background to capture my top!
I also wore my sheer top on my birthday weekend in St. Barths!
Jill Stuart loves the soon-to-be-a-Crayola-color (I wish) so much, that she sent multiple outfits with the blood orange hue down her Spring 2012 runway!
